Maple and Apple Sausage Rolls

Perfect for the festive season!


  • 1 roll of Dairy-Free ready to roll puff pastry (Most brands are dairy free)

  • 4 Jumbo Sausages or 225g of sausage meat or vegan sausage meat. 

  • 1 table spoon of maple syrup

  • 1 large cooking apple


  • ​​Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. 

  • Peel and thinly slice the apple. 

  • Roll out the pastry and cut into four rectangular sections.

  • Place the apple on two of the pastry sections and season with black pepper.

  • In a bowl, mix the sausage meat with the maple syrup. (You'll need to removed the casing if you're using sausages.

  • Spread the sausage meat over the apples and enclose the pastry with the plain sheets. 

  • Use a fork to score the edges and slit the middle so it doesn't explode.

  • Bake for 20-25 mins until golden brown.
