Gingerbread Christmas Trees



This is one of the EASIEST recipes and so so satisfying. 

Literally, all you need is ready-to-roll gingerbread, ready-to-roll icing, golden syrup and food colouring! 

I use the IKEA gingerbread and the Aldi icing, but you can use whatever floats your boat! Basically, just use your Christmassy cookie cutter to cut out your cookies and bake for around 10 mins until they're golden. While they're cooling, roll out your icing and knead in some green food dye. When it's all mixed in, roll it out nice and thin and use the same cookie cutter to cut out your icing. Use a little golden syrup to stick the icing to the cookies! Et Viola! The perfect Christmas cookies!
